An Update on Our Education Program

Posted on August 26, 2025

To our friends and partners,

The time has come for us to provide more clarity and details related to sunsetting the Stolte Family Foundation’s education program. We want to share a recent staffing update that I know will impact you. As we planned our transition over the next two years, we realized the best way to approach funding in this climate is consistency and predictability with a focus on our existing partners. We are committed to making all of our funding decisions now, with no new education funding partners expected in 2026 and 2027. As such, we’ve determined that the program will be fairly self-sustaining and will not require full time staffing.

Many of you have inquired about the impact of our program sunset on Brianna. We know she is a highly valued and deeply trusted partner to all of you. We are proud of the work she has led while at SFF and have communicated to her that the Senior Education Program Officer position will be ending at the close of the current year, December 31, 2025. Brianna has brought so much to our community and each of you. We want to celebrate her impact and will plan something in December that acknowledges her many contributions and impact.

As previously communicated, we are committed to our multi-year grant partners, including transition funding. Brianna will be reaching out to each of our education partners to discuss a transition plan tailored to your organization. Starting in 2026, I will be your primary contact at SFF, and I welcome the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have or thoughts you might like to share.

Please reach out directly to me or Brianna Jackson with any questions or concerns.

With gratitude and love,

Kim
